Tiger Woods has been incredibly unpredictable when it comes to his moves on and off the field. The golf legend has surprised his fans as well as his friends with his actions several times. Be it winning tournaments with a broken leg, or caddying for his son out of the blue, no one can guess the golfer’s next move. Married to Kirsty Willams, the former caddie mentioned how tender the golfer was towards his family. “Whenever I came back from a summer in New Zealand he asked about my family, about Kirsty, about my racing.” Williams wrote. One of his statements claimed that the golf star was vigorously interested in his caddie’s wife Kirsty and his son Jett.

How did Woods contribute to Williams’ marriage?

Despite his public image as being “self-obsessed”, Woods was different on the inside. At least how Williams wanted the world to see it, he was not like other golfers. As per how Williams saw golf professionals, he explained, “they tend to be selfish and it’s not uncommon for them to bypass asking you anything about your personal life or interests.”

But that was definitely not the case with Woods. Moreover, it was Woods, according to Williams, who suggested that he should propose to Kirsty. And Williams was considerate enough to take it as Woods’ “permission” to focus on his personal life along with the golfer’s game. He even mentioned how he started to think about having a life with the woman he loved after Woods intervened.

And after finally making the big move, and getting a “thumbs up” from Kirsty as he mentioned, Williams took the big news to Woods. And in response to what he had done, Woods laughed and said, “I always knew you were a redneck,”. That’s how things went between the celebrated duo back in the day. Regardless of how things ended between the two, Williams made sure he let Woods’ fans know about all that he had done for him.
