Justin Thomas is no more a single man. This past week the PGA Tour star finally married his girlfriend of five years, Jillian Wisniewski. Deeming to JT’s stature in the golf world, many renowned pro golfers were in attendance for 29 year old’s special day. But it didn’t include the one and only Tiger Woods. Justin Thomas got engaged last year. However, the couple decided to finally hitch after the end of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season, which saw JT lift the PGA Championship for the second time in his career.

Thomas has been quite close to Tiger for most of his professional career. Moreover, the two stars have only gotten closer considering their loyalty to the PGA Tour over their nemesis LIV Golf. With that being said, why did Woods snub JT’s wedding day?

Tiger Woods had caddie duty

Details from Thomas’ marriage are very nominal since the ceremony had a no-phone policy. However, little details did make it out of the wedding which provided the location of the marriage, which turned out to be Franklin, Tennesse. Moreover, JT’s USA team partner Jordan Spieth was said to be his best man.

As more reports leaked out of the private ceremony, it was suggested that Tiger Woods was nowhere to be found. This was a shocker for many, as both PGA Tour stars share a brother-like bond. Nonetheless, Woods was occupied with another commitment.

The 15-time Major winner is currently acting as a caddie for his 13-year-old son, Charlie Woods. Tiger’s son is currently set to compete at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship. Videos of Charlie’s practice session next to his father have become viral in recent weeks.

Tiger has even been Charlie’s caddie in the past events. However, as the dates of Charlie’s upcoming tournament crashed with Justin Thomas’ wedding, Tiger chose to be next to his son. But that doesn’t mean anything has changed in the brotherhood of Tiger and Justin.
