After organizing outstanding events in Adelaide and Singapore, LIV Golf is back in the States with its next event. As the league heads to Tulsa for its sixth event of the season, all eyes turn to one golfer, Brooks Koepka. Not only has he had a stunning season this year, but he has also found immense success off the course! Recently, he and his wife, Jena Sims, announced that they were pregnant, and in a few months, the pair will welcome their first child into the world.

The news stunned the fans and, of course, left them overjoyed but also curious about the baby’s gender. And while his wife has kept it hush-hush, it seems like Koepka has slipped up, and given away whether they’re expecting a boy or a girl!

It’s been less than a fortnight since Koepka and Sims announced to their fans that they are having a baby. Ever since the news came to light, Jena Sims has been very active on social media, sharing about her pregnancy diet, her JLo glow, and so much more. But the one thing that she has kept her lips sealed about is the gender of the baby!

When the couple announced their pregnancy on the occasion of the golfer’s birthday, they did not reveal the gender of their little one. Instead, they just posted an array of beautiful pictures telling the world about their kid. But it seems like the cat is finally out of the bag due to Koepka’s slip-up!

Ahead of the LIV event in Tulsa, Koepka attended a press conference where he shared how things will change for him as a golfer when his kid comes into the world. While talking about the experience and the baby, the soon-to-be father kept addressing the baby as a boy and used pronouns such as “he.” Answering one question, he even said, “When that boy comes.”

While neither he nor Sims have confirmed the baby’s gender, this makes fans think that it’s almost certainly a boy. Or perhaps this was Koepka’s way to throw everyone off their scent? Well, only time will tell!

Koepka shares how his perspective will change after having a baby

Talking about his perspective on the big change, the LIV golfer stated that golf wasn’t his life and certainly not his happiness. “I feel like I’ve got a good head on my shoulders and understand that golf isn’t my happiness. Golf isn’t my life; especially when he comes, it’ll be a little bit of a culture change for me, I guess.” 

Koepka added that, for now, nothing seems to have changed much. “I’m still busting my butt at home, out here grinding.” As of now, the golf pro is only certain of one thing: when he welcomes his baby into the world, he’ll be overjoyed!
