As the most free-spirited golfer on the PGA Tour, John Daly has always loved taking up new challenges. And when they are related to someone questioning his unhealthy lifestyle and unusual diet, he sure wouldn’t second guess before accepting it. That is why when a Tour golfer made an insane bet on his life, the 2-time major champion didn’t hesitate a bit to take what he proposed.
Daly celebrated his 50th birthday on April 28, 2016. And according to ftw.ustoday.com, the golfer took his social media on the day to thank his fans for birthday wishes and also the bet he won just because he lived to see that day. “THK U all 4 the bday wishes 2day,” his tweet read. “I’m only “18” with “32” yrs of experience! Also $150 grand up from Fuzzy sayin I wouldn’t make it to 50.”

The two-time major champion didn’t get the money from the bet
$150,000 is not a small amount. Yet, the American golfer Fuzzy Zoeller made a bet after spending a couple of days with Daly and enjoying their time together with food and drinks.
“I think it was Tuesday morning and we played nine holes and went to T-Bonz (restaurant) and had some lunch,” Daly revealed how and why the duo set the bet. “Next thing I know, we were in the same clothes playing Wednesday at 7:30 in the morning and the par-3 tournament.”
According to the golfer, he and Zoeller continued their fun while playing golf. “We stayed through the whole nine (holes), drinking, having a good time, and eating,” the article further added how Daly described the situation. “Fuzzy said, ‘I got 150 grand you’re never going to make it to 50.'”
