Tiger Woods does not have many friends in the golf community. The golfer has made numerous records in professional golf. However, there is another golfer who has a unique name in the golf fraternity. And it is none other than LIV Golf CEO, Greg Norman. But still, the two have not been able to establish a strong friendship.

Why aren’t Tiger Woods and Greg Norman friends?
Tiger Woods has played golf all around the world representing the PGA Tour. Despite most of his friends shifting to the new LIV Golf league, he stayed loyal to the PGA tour. There were rumors that the golfer received a lucrative offer from Greg Norman worth $800 million. However, he allegedly rejected the offer and decided to protect his legacy. And as everyone knows, Woods and Norman have not been able to form a stable friendship with each other.

When asked about what kind of a relationship he wanted to have with Woods, Norman had a unique answer. “I would think we could have a good relationship because we like so many of the same things,” he said. “Scuba diving. Boating. Living on Jupiter Island. Golf. We’ve had similar positions in the game.” Norman also said that despite not winning any major tournaments like Woods, the LIV Golf mastermind could have a really nice relationship with him.

“From my perspective, it would be easy to have a relationship with him,” Norman said. Although the two are not very close in terms of age, both of them are renowned golfers among fans. Greg Norman is 67 years old, while Woods is currently 46. When Tiger Woods was 20 years old, Norman was already an established golfer and playing his best golf. “I’ve never really spent time around Tiger,” Norman said.

Norman also talked about the time when he was playing at the father-son tournament with his son Gregory. And that he talked to Woods about it and said, “There’s no better feeling than to be on center stage with your son.” That was when Norman thought that he could have a fresh relationship with Woods. He said, “There was a softness to it. But it didn’t evolve after that” But despite living on Jupiter Island and being in the same field as Woods, Norman could never establish a nice relationship with him.
