Bryson DeChambeau compared himself to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos

LIV Golfer, Bryson DeChambeau has been in the news since the time he switched Tours. Moreover, there have been several other times when he made it to the headlines and was questioned by his fans. But there was a time when he handled the heat in the best way possible.

After the golfer lost to Patrick Cantlay at the BMW Championship, he was accused of swearing at a spectator. Rumors also said that DeChambeau asked Cantlay to stand still while he played his shots. However, the golf scientist was unaffected by the accusations and said he was going to move on. “I can take heat, I have taken heat my whole life and it’s because I am a little different and I understand that,” DeChambeau said.

In his response to receiving heat, he also said“Whether it is Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos… there is always going to be heat…and I respect that.” DeChambeau also talked about how honesty and integrity were the most important things for him and his game. Although he gave tough competition to Cantlay in the playoff, he still couldn’t achieve his ninth PGA Tour victory.

DeChambeau blasted off at LIV Golf’s world ranking points decision

LIV Golf has been promising its golfers that it’ll help them get access to earning OWGR points soon. And to do the same, Greg Norman made a special alliance with MENA Tour. However, OWGR said that it needed more time to decide rather than allowing the league to move ahead with it.

Talking about the same, DeChambeau said “They’re delaying the inevitable,”. He said that they were “playing a waiting game”. He added that this will result in the ranking points falling to a level that they won’t even matter. DeChambeau pointed towards the whole waiting game to be a strategy to avoid LIV Golf players from getting access to OWGR points.
