Michael Kim has been against LIV Golf and LIV golfers for some time now. Not only that, he even clearly said, “Do I want a deal? My short answer is no but I don’t care much,” talking about the merger. Days after that the golfer is here with an update highlighting some immature action from LIV golfers.

Recently Kim shared a post on X saying “What happens when your course hosts a LIV tournament? My friends(?) draw elementary school d–k drawings on all my gloves in my locker,” he said with a laughing emoji. Later the golfer also added “Who would do this? I can make some educated guesses,” he said indirectly targeting some pros. Well, who made the drawings we don’t know, but this certainly felt like harassment to Kim.

Many are waiting for the merger to happen. As for Kim, he doesn’t care about the deal. He talked about it while re-sharing Rory McIlroy‘s video on his X handle. While talking about it he also added “Whether the tour and LIV make a deal or not, it will not affect my bottom line. It won’t change my schedule in the slightest bit and won’t change my earnings.” Kim also talked about the uncertainty of the deal saying that it’s hard to say how many pros will benefit from this.

After the golfer shared the post about drawings, some fans expressed their thoughts, saying, Gotta be @PhilMickelson.” Meanwhile, another one trolled the circuit, saying That’s about the speed for @livgolf_league,” with some clown emojis in the end. Surprisingly, Kim had a similar reaction when Bryson DeChambeau shared his thoughts for the good of the sport.”

Michael Kim laughed at Bryson DeChambeau’s unification thoughts

In April this year, NUCLR GOLF shared a post on X highlighting Bryson DeChambeau’s thoughts on the merger. “I want to be competing every week, with all of the best players in the world for sure… And it needs to happen fast. It’s not a two-year thing. Like it needs to happen quicker rather than later just for the good of the sport. Too many people are losing interest,” said the scientist. Meanwhile, Michael Kim, who has a cold stance towards the Saudi-backed league, simply wrote “LOL” while replying to Bryson DeChambeau‘s thoughts on the unification.

It’s not just DeChambeau; other LIV golfers like Phil Mickelson also support the merger. Lefty even said that he is putting his trust in Yasir Al-Rumayaan and “where the game is headed more globally,” supporting the idea of this long-awaited deal. There have been recent updates regarding the challenges with PGA Tour pros, who will need convincing to compete internationally, as many prefer playing in North America. Is Kim one of those who only want to play in the U.S.? It’s hard to tell.
