Will celebrities receive prize money at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am?

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the most awaited tournaments every year. It is one of the very few times when fans get to see their favorite players alongside famous celebrities. Movie stars and music legends are currently practicing their swings to make their performances worth watching.

With so much to figure out, fans are bringing in questions about the upcoming tournament that includes 37 celebrities and 37 professionals. People are excited to know which famous stars they’ll be seeing on the course this year. However, one of the most common concerns of the fans is something else – will celebrities receive any prize money?

Well, if you think they will, it is not going to be the case at the tournament. Celebrities will be participating in three major events, and all the money they’ll raise will be donated to charity.

The 3M Celebrity Challenge features stars competing for $125,000, while the Chevron Challenge offers $250,000 to the winner. Lastly, the Cisco Million Dollar Hole In One for Charity will be able to make $1 million, but all of it will be donated towards noble causes. On the other hand, professional golfers will be receiving their share of the prize money for themselves like all other tournaments.

The organizers are expecting a crowd as big as 3,000 fans to watch the events. The tournament is scheduled to go on from Feb 2–5 at Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula. And out of all three, Spyglass Hill is going to be the most challenging course for the players!

Celebrities on the field include Larry Fitzgerald, Gareth Bale, Pau Gasol, Jason Bateman, Bill Murray, and SchoolboyQ. And as far as Tour players are concerned, fans will see Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Viktor Hovland playing their best shots!
