The 2023 season saw the end of a 9-year-old marriage! Pat Perez and Ashley Perez ended their relationship and it shocked the golf world. The former couple got married on January 1, 2015. The former Perez duo had been in the news for their various controversial moments throughout their marriage.

The recent turn of events—their divorce—has made people more curious about their lives. The question arises: apart from their explosive relationship, has the couple shared any children over the years?

Ashley Perez is rumored to be an engineer and designer. Pat Perez and Ashley were dating for around four years before they tied the knot on New Year’s Day in 2015. Throughout their relationship, the couple has always supported each other through the highs and lows.

After four years, in January 2018, the couple announced the news of their first child. The 4Aces GC members shared the video of him getting surprised by the news while they were having dinner at Montage Kapalua Bay. The LIV golfer exclaimed that he would finally be a dad at the age of 42.

Nine months later, they welcomed a baby girl and named her Piper Perez. Piper Perez was born on September 3, 2018, and the girl is now 5-years-old. The couple was expecting their second child and first son two years after Piper Perez’s birth. Perez unfortunately missed the birth of his son as he was playing for a spot in the FedExCup playoffs; one reason why he left the PGA Tour, as Kyle Porter from CBS reported.

In August 2021, Ashley Perez delivered to the baby boy and named him Paxton Perez. The two are hidden from the public eye, though the mother does post her firstborn sometimes. Since the couple has now filed for divorce, the question is where will the children stay?

In November 2023, Ashley Perez filed for divorce at the Maricopa County Superior Court. The news made headlines when BroBible noticed that the couple had removed each other’s pictures from their social media handles.

The filed divorce documents were obtained by the New York Post. As per the filings, Ashley Perez has requested the court to make her the sole legal decision-making for the minors and her home to become the primary residence for their children. In response, Perez’s attorney asked the court for “joint legal decision-making for and equal parenting time with their children.”

It has been more than two months since the divorce was filed and it has not since been finalized. But Ashley has alluded to Perez as a “Narcissist” in one of her Instagram stories. The two are in progress over their divorce while Perez is gearing up to make his first appearance at LIV Golf Mayakoba in a few hours.
