Spiranac started by detailing how expensive golf lessons can be. She divided the types of instructors and lessons into three tiers. “You need to go to a lesson at least once a week if you want to see changes,” she said. “On the very low end, it’s $50 an hour. Middle tier, you’re looking between $140-$250. Upper tier is $250 and could go up to even as much as $1500. It’s expensive and it’s time-consuming.”

The golfer recently commented on how ‘local pros’ aren’t very good when someone tried to criticize her online golfing lessons. But her statement was offensive to a lot of golf professionals teaching offline. However, to clarify her stance, Spiranac explained how it was important to make sure the instructor was going to be the perfect fit for the student.

“You have to do your research,” she said. “There are lists with the top 50 instructors in each state. You can also find some hidden gems, but again, you got to look at their resume. What’s their playing career like? Who did they apprentice under? What are their swing philosophies? How do they teach? If you’re a field player, and you’re working with someone who’s more visual, you’re just not going to match”

Spiranac’s advice also included the fact that no matter how good an instructor is, he should know how to match your game. She ended the video with information about her “$10 a month subscription program where I can take your golf game to the next level” Clearly her recent comments about local pros got her into controversies relating to her views on professional golf instructors. However, the video she recently posted clarified all doubts in her fans’ heads.
