Nicklaus gave his own perspective on Tiger beating his record for most major wins. Tiger’s fans will truly love the golden bear’s perspective on Woods.
Nicklaus spoke about Tiger beating his record back in 2015. He said, “So Tiger has got five more to win. That’s more than any other golfer that’s playing together his whole career. When you look at it in that context, now in relation to only what Tigers record is, it’s only five more. But and you know, he still has to do it.”
He added, “I suspect that he probably will pass it. And I suspect that he’ll probably do it in the next two, three years. But you know, if he does, that’s fine. But he still has to do it. You know, it’s not it isn’t a given.”
Moreover, with the time he has got, maybe he can achieve it. Only time will tell will Woods add another feather to his cap.

When did Tiger Woods win his first major championship?
Woods won his first major championship back in 1997, only one year after turning professional in 1996. Tiger emphatically won the 1997 Masters. Woods won his first green jacket with an overall score of 18-under-par and won the event with a whopping 12 stroke lead. He also won a prize money share worth $486,000.
