The comeback by Adrian Meronk will be remembered for a long time in the golfing world. The professional golfer from Poland has been in form this year and the last. And yet, he was rejected by the Ryder Cup 2023 in Europe that just concluded.
Instead of sulking over it, Adrian Meronk has proved himself by winning the Andalucia Masters on the DP World Tour 2023 in Spain. It marks Meronk’s fourth DP World Tour title and his third this season. Earlier this year, the Polish golfer won the ISPS Handa Australian Open and the DS Automobiles Italian Open.

Adrian Meronk moves on from Ryder Cup rejection
The score of Adrian Meronk was a six-under 66 in the final round at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters tournament. He captured victory with the help of two eagles and four birdies. With this win, the golfer finally put behind the European Ryder Cup dismissal after he could not qualify automatically for it.
As reported on Sky Sports, Adrian Meronk said about his DP World Tour victory and the Ryder Cup, “I’m just glad the Ryder Cup and all the talks about it are over. I can just focus on my game, keep going forward. Whoever doubted me, I hope I can prove them wrong.”
But there’s more to cheer for the 30-year-old. With the Andalucia Masters 2023 victory, Meronk has moved to the third position on the Race to Dubai Rankings. Moreover, he finds himself back in the Top 50 on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). The Andalucia Masters 2023 Cup was held between October 19-22 in Spain.
