Daly has been pretty much vocal about his grand, unapologetic lifestyle, and that includes tons of beers and replacing water with diet coke. However, when asked about the best way to deal with a hangover, his response was something, which many would not expect.

John Daly’s unique way of dealing with hangovers?

John Daly has been inherently honest about everything with his fans. Golf fans enjoy interesting stories about Daly including details about his life struggles along with his professional achievements. But along with everything good he shares, Daly also has no problem talking about his habits that he is not proud of.

Daly’s affection for alcohol is nothing new for the fans to know. The golfer once admitted to drinking 30-40 beers every day, followed by whiskey, and that too during his tournaments. However, despite his shocking yet amazing drinking abilities, Daly has managed to make several records on the field.

The player who was once the longest hitter on the PGA Tour definitely has all great tricks up his sleeve. And so he was recently asked about his trick to nurse a hangover after drinking a great deal of alcohol. But his response was enough to let the fans know how much he loves drinking. “Drink the same sh*t you drank an hour before,” Long John said, leaving the person who asked laughing. Daly also mentioned his own brand’s vodka and said it was the best, though he didn’t have any with him. Well, chilling with a bottle of vodka in a golf cart, with a pack of cigarettes in his hands, how else do you describe classic John Daly?

John Daly once played while drunk 

Despite struggling with bladder cancer, Daly is nowhere near quitting alcohol. The golf professional also has a great love for diet cokes and surprisingly, hates drinking water. Daly’s wild adventures include a lot of stories. And he once talked about staying drunk during tournaments until the 13th hole!

“I wouldn’t sober up until the 13th hole,” Daly said. “I could drink, probably a case to 35 beers a day, or 40… Easily, yeah.” Built differently, Daly has the capacity of a dozen people combined. His love for alcohol went to another extent when right after suffering a stroke, all Daly could think of was having a drink. But that is how he has been since the beginning, and that is probably how he is going to be! But next time, when you’re having trouble dealing with a hangover, you now know what to do!
