And becoming one of those very few people, Matt Kuchar recently reached a pedestal similar to Woods on the PGA Tour. However, fans have something else on their minds!

Matt Kuchar has finally achieved something in his career that he would never forget. After all, getting your name written right next to the world’s best golfer is no small feat. It was after the golfer aced the group title at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin Country Club to advance to the next round. It seemed like an easy match for the player against Si Woo Kim with a 7-and-6. However, there was something else that was even more important than receiving the group title for Kuchar!

With his 36th tournament win, the golf star was able to match Tiger Woods’ record for winning the most matches! As the PGA Tour’s Instagram page described it, it was a “historic W” for Kuchar. However, golf fans were not exactly in his favor, despite his memorable achievement.

Infamous for a lot of reasons, Kuchar has been stuck in several controversies involving him underpaying his caddies after tournaments. Fans very well remember the time when he was accused of not paying David Ortiz enough even after winning $1.3 million at the Mayakoba Golf Classic. And despite his latest achievements, golf fans are not giving up on his past scuffles! Here’s what some of them said:
