According to The Huffington Post, Nordegren was healed; therefore, she could joke about her broken marriage in front of her peers. When she came to America, she was unaware of anything and was lost. But today, she is a mother of two and has an accomplished life. She said, “When I entered my student adviser office in the fall of 2005, I was 25 years old and had just recently moved to America. I was married without children.” Nordegren added, “Today, nine years later, I’m a proud American, and I have two beautiful children … but I’m no longer married.” 

Dealing with a massive betrayal and then follow-up questions and the massive public scrutiny on her broken marriage in the media must have been hard on the former model. However, Nordegren has emerged out strong mentally, and is more potent than before. She is a powerful woman who deserves to be praised for handling the issue gracefully.
