He told them, “Guys, the reason why we’re not in the same house, why we don’t live under the same roof, Mommy and Daddy, is because Daddy made some mistakes.”

Tiger said to Lorne, “I want it to come from me so that when they come of age, I’ll just tell them the real story.” Tiger believed he was the one who owed his kids the explanation, and he even told Elin that he would be the one to tell them. He stated, “I was to blame, and so I’m taking initiative with the kids.”

Woods said he assured his kids that even though they didn’t live under the same roof, he loved them no matter what. He said to them, “You have two loving parents that love you no matter what.” The father of two swore to his kids that he would always try to help and guide them through life.
