Smith’s third and final round began with uncertainty, but he found his groove in the middle with 4 birdies. His final score of 68 left him at 12-under-par as he won by seven strokes. Rippers GC, an all-Australian LIV Clan, also had a rocky start, but Jediah Morgan played one of the most impressive rounds of his LIV career and pushed the team towards their first victory with 11 strokes. The Rippers’ victory is the highest margin victory in this season of LIV Golf.

A big win definitely calls for big celebrations. Amid the chaos pertaining to his future in the league, Norman congratulated Smith for his third LIV victory. He also shared a very captivating video of the team’s celebration wherein the whole Rippers squad was smiling from ear to ear.

In the aftermath of the victory, the all-Australian team definitely had something traditional planned for their celebration. In the video shared on the Rippers GC’s Instagram, all four players and caddies can be seen doing a shoey, a slang where Australians drink out of a shoe in celebration. Amid the celebrations, Smith also lifted up his individual title trophy, which came along with prize money worth $4 million.
