A lot has changed in the life of Bryson DeChambeau lately. He left PGA Tour and started playing at the LIV Golf Invitational Series. He can’t show his ‘Mad Scientist’ side, and his bombs every week to the American audience since the Tour, has banned him from attending any of their sanctioned events. Nonetheless, his interest to attend the annual eSports awards has never changed.

Last year, the eSports awards and Golf Gaming Club teamed up for the first time to conduct a celeb pro-am. Since it was a success, officials conducted another one this year on December 11 at Bear’s Best Las Vegas Golf Course. Both times, DeChambeau was part of the group.

Notably, like the LIV Golf Series, the eSports-golf event also promotes non-traditional golf rules. Hence, it was not surprising to see the 2020 US Open Championship winner going there as he has always wanted to bring innovations to golf.

Bryson DeChambeau met a special someone at the eSports Awards

Unlike other award ceremonies, the annual Esport Awards don’t start and end on the same day. According to its official website, The Go Home Show was conducted on December 1. Meanwhile, the actual award ceremony was held on December 13 from 8 pm PT.

Other than the golf event, Bryson DeChambeau also attended the award ceremony. And while walking on the red carpet, the golfer found an interesting individual there – Jack Link’s mascot- Sasquatch.

Notably, Jack Link’s became the official partner of eSports by being the Official Protein Snack of OpTic Gaming recently. The food production company serves convenient, and portable snacks like beef jerky, steak bites, and bars to fuel professional and aspiring gamers looking for a better alternative to typical snack foods.

Since Sasquatch is their mascot, he was there to welcome the guests of the night, including DeChambeau.

One of his recent stories shows that the 1-time major champion gets to present an award. Notably, he deleted it since then, however, streamer Kazify had shared it in his stories. From the picture, one can see that he is presenting the ‘Streamer of the Year’ award. Notably, Ibai “Ibai” Llanos won the award, and reports suggest that it is his third consecutive year winning it.
