Lindsey Vonn once reminisced her 3-year relationship with Tiger Woods. She made a statement about her ex at the Gala and grabbed the attention of the paparazzi. But does the world-champion ski racer really had something nice to say about Woods or was is another way around?

Lindsey Vonn comments on Tiger Woods
At the TIME 100 Gala held in New York City in 2016, Lindsey Vonn walked the red carpet. She was asked an intriguing question during an interview. The reporter questioned her about the best celebrity skier she had ever shared the slopes with.

After a significant pause, Vonn had an interesting answer. She said, “I haven’t skied with very many celebrities. Tiger was a pretty good skier, though.”
But wasn’t he worried about getting hurt? Vonn was asked. “No,” she said. “He’s pretty athletic.”
Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods’ Relationship
Thomas Vonn, an Olympic skier, was Vonn’s first husband for four years. After that, she dated Tiger Woods, one of the best golfers. They began dating in March 2013, and they remained together till May 2015.

After Woods’ car accident last year, Vonn stated that she and Woods are friends and that she is pleased with his recovery and improved health.
Woods’ aversion from skiing
If you consider Woods’ comment from when he was dating Vonn in 2014, ski racing is really not something he enjoys. He made it very obvious to NBC that he wasn’t willing to lose his life playing a sport. Despite loving sports, the renowned golfer discourages his participation in risky activities.

According to the legend, golf is like playing physical chess, whereas ski is full of aggression. In answer to this, Vonn said that her sport was over in minutes whereas his sport was like a marathon.

Well, Woods and Vonn both love their sports and they supported each other when they were together. They have not only excelled in their careers but also have maintained their friendship post break up. This comment by Vonn further clarified that they both are on good terms personally and professionally.
