Former One Direction singer Niall Horan has shown his love for the beautiful sport in the past. However, his latest announcement will further enhance his affection for golf.

Niall is known to be an avid sports fan. The Irish singer has been seen rooting for the Irish national soccer team in the past, or even imitating his fellow Countryman Conor McGregor. Nonetheless, the singer’s fondness for golf stands out from the rest of his obsessions.
Niall Horan signs with Callaway Golf
Horan has been a frequent participant in pro-am events. He competed at last year’s ISPS Handa Wolrd Invitational. Though he failed to impress with his golf abilities, the former One Direction member will hope to succeed in future golf events, thanks to his new golf equipment.

Callaway Golf, one of the most notable golf equipment companies with a current market cap of $3.75 Billion, announced their collaboration with Niall Horan. In the video posted on Callaway Golf’s Twitter page, Horan could be seen beaming about the new deal.

“The only thing that comes close to my love for music, is my love for the game of golf”, said the artist. Niall already has other endeavors in the sport of golf, named Modest!, a Golf Management company that he founded in 2016. The Modest! Golf along with R&A has designed and developed a series of grassroots programs for the sport of golf globally.

The former One Direction singer said, “I am very excited to announce my new partnership with Callaway Golf”. Though not a pro golfer, many may question what the deal is about. Horan provides a hint to his fans by saying, “Stay tuned for the next couple of months to check out really cool content”.
In the end, the Irishman pulls out a Callaway Golf Club and says, “I’ll be putting this bad boy into action”. The main objective behind the multi-year deal is to attract a younger audience to the sport of golf. Moreover, Niall Horan has been a role model for many young kids over the past few years. He surely may attract some of the future Major winners into the sport of golf.
