Lydia Ko keeps raking in sponsors. Just recently, the former world no. 1 golfer added Maui Jim to her long list of partners. With these, Kiwi International has now over half a dozen partners who support her in one way or another.
Firstly, Ko has sponsorship deals with Hana Financials. The Korean banking group first partnered with Kiwi International in 2020. Ko signed a deal with Hana Capital—a wing of Hana Financial—and sported their logo for two years. In 2022, she signed another sponsorship deal, but this time with Hana Bank.
Back in 2017, Ko also inked a deal with golf apparel brand ECCO. Ko, then 19, was the brand ambassador of a footwear brand. The three-time major winner used to sport the brand’s logo on her collar. Interestingly, she also floated her own apparel line at that time in partnership with McKayson.

But Lydia Ko recently signed with apparel giant Boss. That deal was signed as recently as January 7, 2025. Ko sporting a Boss apparel shared a few snippets on her Instagram handle announcing the partnership. Notably, Lydia Ko also had a sponsorship deal with Renoma. It’s not clear if that partnership is still kicking in the wake of her new announcement. Aside from this, she also has an iron-only equipment deal with the Japanese brand Golf Partners/Protoconcept Golf. The deal, signed in 2022, will reach its maturity by the end of this year.

Lydia Ko inks a new partnership with Maui Jim
The 2024 Olympic gold medalist in women’s golf and Maui Jim, a leading sunglass manufacturer based in Illinois, announced a partnership for 2025. As an official brand ambassador, Ko will sport Maui Jim glasses on and off the course. The company, as the name suggests, has a Hawaiian origin. It was founded in Hawaii, but later the headquarters moved to the mainland and is now part of the Kering Eyewear portfolio of brands.
In the media release, Roberto Vedovotto, President and CEO of Kering Eyewear, said, “We are super proud to welcome Lydia Ko to the Maui Jim family. Her excellence and commitment to always being the best embody the spirit of our brand, and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to inspire golfers worldwide.”
Ko, on the other hand, stated, “I am incredibly excited to partner with Maui Jim, a brand that I’ve always been very close to and that I’ve worn and trusted for years. Their sunglasses elevate my experience on the golf course with cutting-edge technology, all while maintaining a stylish design.”
