When asked about what was the most negative interactions she had, the golf diva had her answers ready. “I would say it’s the weirdest and hardest thing that does happen in person is that I have I don’t know what it is – I have so many fake accounts of me!” Spiranac revealed.

She went on to reveal how these fake accounts have used her name to extort people online. “They start like these, you know, fake relationships with these men online to try to get money,” she said. Furthermore, she has to report several accounts every single day for using her likeness. And this unfortunate thing has been happening since last year.
The problem is not a new one for the golf diva
The issue of fake profiles has become a major issue and she tried raising awareness about it last year. Back in February 2023, Paige Spiranac stated in her podcast Playing a Round, that she reports almost 20 fake accounts every day.

She added, “If it is not coming from my verified account. It’s not me. And if it’s someone who has bad sentence structure, bad grammar can’t seem to really put a sentence together, not me.” Furthermore, she warned her fans that these fake accounts would come forward with fake driver’s licenses and fake checks on her name. But they can be easily debunked as they use bad-quality Photoshop.
