Anyone following golf knows the special bond between Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods. These two have shared it all—competing, playing side by side, and sharing countless unforgettable moments on and off the course. Woods often refers to JT as his younger brother and the latter refers to Woods as his idol. Respect goes beyond the game of golf. This makes it needless to say that he did receive condolences from JT on Sunday. Tiger Woods had originally committed to play before the entry deadline. However, just days after his mother Kultida passed away, he made the tough decision to withdraw, saying in a statement, “I’m just not ready.”

Fast forward to Sunday’s final round, and Woods showed up at the South Course. Fans spotted him on PGA Tour Live, watching players warm up on the range, including his good friend Justin Thomas. Justin made his way over to share a heartfelt hug with Tiger. Light, precious moments always work well for all of us.

And well, that was not all for wholesome moments at the event. Justin Thomas and Jillian Wisniewski had their first child, Molly Grace, on November 18, 2024. Despite being so close to each other, Tiger Woods could not meet her. “I was hoping to get out here this week and play and meet his little girl out there. I haven’t met her yet, little Molly Grace,” he said. A few minutes after leaving the booth, Tiger had the chance to meet Molly. CBS cameras captured the touching moment when Tiger greeted Justin Thomas’s wife, Jillian, and their daughter, Molly.

PGA Tour took to their official Instagram account and shared the wholesome moment. They posted a video of Justin Thomas walking in the course with his 3-month-old daughter held firmly in his arms, as he kissed her on the forehead, and fans cheered. And the next video was Tiger Woods meeting his younger brother’s family. The commentator said, “He didn’t get a chance to meet little Molly Grace. He regretted that. Well, the timing was just right. Climb down the tower. And there was a little Molly Grace.”

Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods, neighbors in Jupiter, Florida, have formed a close friendship over the years. Since the birth of Thomas’s daughter, Woods has stepped into a supportive role, offering guidance. As a 15-time major champion and father of two, Tiger has been a trusted mentor to Justin. He’s always ready to share advice and wisdom. Thomas said speaking about Woods’s support, “He’s been unbelievable. I mean, yeah. I’ve seen a new side of him. I mean, it’s just been really cool.”

The golf world has of late mostly been surrounded by politics and competition. This has been the environment since the rivalry between LIV Golf and PGA Tour was announced. It has only been about complaints and how things are changing only for the bad. But this moment was simply pure joy and was refreshing for the audience. Taking to this, one of them wrote, “Love this!
