The longest hitter of the 90s, John Daly, has always been a fan favorite due to his free-spirited lifestyle. Fans might find his personal life fascinating from the outside. However, according to his ex-wife Sherrie Miller, living with him has always been troublesome. 

Miller, Daly’s fourth wife, released a book titled, ‘Teed Off: My Life as a Player’s Wife on the PGA Tour,’ in 2011, a year after they got divorced. And according to the book description on goodreads.com, she used the book to tell her part of the story about her marriage with the golfer.

According to the ‘Good, bad and Daly: Timeline of ups and downs’ article on golfchannel.com, Daly married Sherrie Miller in 2001, two years after divorcing Paulette Dean. The couple were married for almost nine years and had a son whom they named John Daly II. And Miller described her life with Daly as nothing short of a championship event where hundreds of competitors are aiming to win the ultimate title. 

“Little did I know that being a golf wife,” Sherrie Miller wrote, according to couriermail.com.au, in her book. “…would mean fighting off st**ppers who think it’s OK to be out on the golf course without any clothes on.”

Notably, Daly fans knew before Miller’s book and their divorce that his relationship with his fourth wife was not going well. During the end of their marriage, the golfer showed up for the second round of the 2007 Stanford St. Jude Championship with visible cuts on his face. Nicknamed the ‘Wild Thing,’ the golfer then explained that he got injured following the feud the couple had at a restaurant in Memphis. 

Did John Daly find another partner since Sherrie Miller? 

The 2-time major champion John Daly had married three times before he tied the knot with Sherrie Miller. However, since his divorce from his fourth wife, the golfer didn’t remarry. 

However, not being married doesn’t mean he is still single. The Wild Thing has been in a relationship with Anna Cladakis, a promotional manager for Hooters, for the past 15 years. As a matter of fact, Daly proposed to his girlfriend in 2014, and the couple has stayed engaged since then. 

Notably, the 1991 PGA Championship winner has never confirmed any of the things his fourth ex-wife Sherrie Miller wrote in her book.
