As a result of the untimely withdrawal, Salas’s partner, Kupcho was on a mission to find herself a new and eligible partner for the tournament. Despite her “exhausting” efforts, she could not find a partner to participate with and hence had to withdraw as well. The decision was incredibly hard for her.

As both the LPGA stars took the hard decision to withdraw and not defend their title, they did so while respecting each other so much.
