Jon Rahm would have hoped for a better start at the ongoing major championship. Unfortunately, he could only dish out a score of 1-over par 73 in the first round of the 2024 Masters Tournament. But, surprisingly, although his sub-par gameplay caught the attention of fans, what truly turned heads was the Spaniard’s usual reaction to himself falling short of expectations, all the while turning the air blue no less!

A tweet was shared by NUCLR GOLF on their X handle (formerly Twitter) of the golfer driving the ball during the ongoing major. However, what the community saw was nothing short of surprising, as he went ahead to drop yet another F-bomb after his shot didn’t turn out the way he liked it to be. Anyhow, the fans weren’t too pleased with his reaction as well.

The video shared by the news handle showcases him swearing “Go F—k yourself” as soon as he drives the spheroid. That’s not all, he also followed it with another curse, “God damn… F—K!!!” as the ball went ahead to fall amid the trees instead of the fairway.

This is not the first time that he has dropped such a bomb on the Augusta National, not to mention on any course. Back in 2023, the golfer had teed his shot towards the right side of the greens in the hopes of placing it towards the centrally positioned pin. However, contrary to his expectations, the ball rolled away from the hole, resulting in Rahm shouting “f**k” and the commentators apologizing for the language.

Anyhow, coming back to the 2024 Masters, the professional’s actions on the iconic course didn’t sit too well with the fans. Consequently, many took to chewing out the Spanish professional on the internet just moments after the tweet was shared.

Jon Rahm’s F-bomb sends the internet into a frenzy

The 29-year-old had been at the center of attention numerous times for turning the air blue when he plays at LIV Golf events. Interestingly, back when he debuted for the Saudi-backed league in Mayakoba, he cried out, “F__k! Get lucky,” as soon as he hit the tee shot on the 18th. What’s more, during the Las Vegas tournament, he dropped another bomb at the par-4, 17th hole, and yet another one at the recent event in Miami. Well, the fans sure went ahead to point out the same as one commented, “Dude stays whinging. F***ing trail of tears lol,” while another responded, “Someone tell him to watch is damn mouth people actually watch this tournament! Too soon?!?!” all the while taking a jab at the breakaway circuit as well.

Meanwhile, another LIV golfer, Bryson DeChamebau had managed to top the leaderboard after a scintillating 7-under 65. Fascinatingly, he disclosed how playing at a challenging course like Donald Trump’s Doral in Miami helped him prepare for the ongoing tournament. That’s not all. Even Phil Mickelson had a similar stance regarding the LIV Golf courses. However, many followers in the community, it appears, do not seem to share the same attitude as they took this opportunity to poke Rahm and the courses that he, as a LIV golfer, plays in the Saudi-backed league. As a result, some of these followers commented under the recent video as they reacted, “Lol maybe playing resort courses wasn’t the best prep for Augusta.” Besides, there were also other users who dished out jabs at Rahm and his gameplay, commenting, “This dude is unwatchable. He sucks,” and “Hoping for a few more of those and a missed cut tomorrow.”
