We all know Gary Player as a diverse sports fan. He always follows multiple sports and even played a few of them during his younger days. However, probably basketball is the only sport which he didn’t play because of his height. And that’s what he said while sharing memorable photos with Michael Jordan and Yao Ming.

“I never had the height for basketball, but I have been lucky enough to share a few rounds with some basketball legends over the years. Fun memories in honor of the NBA season starting up today, good luck to all the young men competing,” tweeted Gary.

The legendary South African golfer shared an image of him playing a round of golf with Michael Jordan and the 7’6″ Yao Ming. Even though he couldn’t play basketball with these legends, he managed to share a few rounds of golf with both these players.

Moreover, he shared these memories in honor of the new NBA season starting October 19. Furthermore, he even wished all the luck to everyone competing in this spectacular basketball league. 

Meanwhile, as the new season started, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors registered a win in their respective games and have gotten off to a winning start.
