The golf world can barely keep calm these days. After the incredible 105th PGA Championship, fans will now embrace the 83rd KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship from May 24-28, 2023. The event will take place at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco, the new home of the PGA of America in Frisco, Texas.

Undoubtedly, the course will be filled with Hall of Famers. With their skills and strategies, this event is sure to attract extra attention. But despite all the glitz and excitement, one name consistently sticks out in the minds of fans: John Daly. Will John Daly, who is renowned for his risk-taking manner, charisma, and, most significantly, his larger-than-life attitude, participate in the competition?

Daly’s absence from the PGA Championship

In the midst of getting back on track with his career, Daly once again shocked the golfing community with upsetting news. He withdrew from the prestigious PGA Championship because of his continuous health struggles.

“Sorry to WD from this yrs @PGAChampionship but since my left knee replacement being only a few months ago …IT band had severe swell up! Gutted to miss my fans & people of Rochester! Wishing all the guys a great major wk,” said Daly on his official Twitter account.
