Dustin Johnson lost his spot among the world’s top 40 golfers
In the recent changes to the Official World Golf Rankings, Dustin Johnson became the latest to suffer for his move to the Saudi-backed Tour. Though he sat at #40 last week, the two-time Major winner fell down to #41 in this week’s rankings.
It is not very common for Dustin Johnson to be so far behind his colleagues in the golf rankings. He hasn’t been placed below the 40th rank since 2010. LIV Golf has taken the initiative to make sure they receive the OWGR points system as soon as possible to ensure that they can attract the game’s biggest names.
