We know the Claret Jug winner, John Daly, for his colorful choice of country club clothes. But when it comes to his kids, we know him as a good father. He has seen many ups and downs in his life, from getting banned by the PGA tour to four separations in his married life.

The PGA tour championship winner lost many opportunities to be an excellent partner, but he does not want to lose any moment of his fatherhood. So, he once shared his regret regarding his daughters. Despite being a wonderful father to his son, he still missed so much with his daughter. Let’s find out his guilt.
Does John Daly have regrets about his kids?
We have recognized John Daly as one of the most significant characters in the sport since turning pro in 1987. In the video, the interviewer catches up with the two-time major winner in 2013, to talk about golf, guitars, and family. He attended the one-on-one interview in two parts and discussed alcohol, injury, and weight loss.

In the second part, talking about his kids and spending time with them, he expressed his regret. Daly plays with his son, John Patrick Daly II, quite often. The duo appeared at the 2021 PNC Challenge and won it. Due to all such activities, he gets time with his son but not with his daughters, which was his regret.

He said, “I didn’t have a chance to do with my daughters. Different circumstances, of course.” Daly is aware that he never got any opportunity or any activity that he could do with his daughters. They all have different mothers and different circumstances, but this was something not happily accepted by Daly.

Daly loves and appreciates his kids
Being a father might be much more special than winning major championships. We know the pro golfer, Daly, for hitting golf balls miles down, but what gives him happiness are his three children. John Patrick Daly II, Sierra Lynn Daly, and Shynah Hale Daly were born in 2003, 1995, and 1992, respectively.

Praising his kids on YouTube this year, it pleased him that his son was already doing great at golf, as they won the PNC together. He said all his kids were outstanding, and he went on to appreciate his daughter Shynah’s photography skills. According to Daly, she is a fantastic photographer and was the one running his shop for years.
