Tiger Woods put the sport of golf on the radar. Therefore, not having the legend play at so many reputable tournaments has been heartbreaking for the golfing community. Fans are in a tizzy since the GOAT of Golf announced his withdrawal from the 2023 Masters Tournament.

The reason for his decision was that he once again succumbed to his injuries from the accident in late February 2021. Since then, Woods has reported pain in his ankle and knee in particular. The pain affected his gameplay to a degree as well, which he confessed during a short game with a fellow PGA Tour pro. But now, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel.

However, there seems to be new hope. Reports broke out that the World Golf Hall of Famer was seen without his special boots at a Juniors Tournament last week. The 15-time major championship winner was apparently walking across the Old Palm Golf Club in Florida. The sight ignited hope in Mr. T’s fans that he is probably recouping quite steadily and may return to the professional circuit soon enough.

The post that read, “A follower reached out and said Tiger was at a Junior tourney last week at Old Palm GC in FL and was seen walking with no boot. I confirmed to check and CW played in this tourney”, was shared by TWLegion, a fan site that closely follows the activities of the 82-time PGA Tour winner. Tiger Woods fans are already anticipating if he will return for the 2024 Masters. There is also hope that he might return for PNC Championship 2023 in Orlando, Florida in December.

This latest Tiger Woods update is one of a long list of good news in regard to the GOAT golfer in recent weeks. However, the hope that Tiger Woods might return sooner than expected and conquer more titles and accomplish greatness once again is the best thing for his fans.

August 2023 has been a good month for Tiger Woods

A few days before the dawn of August, the golfing community learned that Woods’ lawsuit with ex-girlfriend Erica Herman came to a satisfactory conclusion for the golf star. Shortly after, on the 1st of August, Tiger Woods was welcomed as the 6th Player Director on the PGA Tour’s policy board.

Following the series of good news, Woods’ event — the Genesis Invitational — made it to the eight signature events for next season with the tournament boasting more money as well as the cut-line rule. Two more signature events will have the cut-line rule. The golfer has advocated for the cut rule many times in the past and needless to say, he has got his way with the PGA tour.
