The 2023 men’s golf season is almost in its final leg with FedEx Cup Playoffs beginning. The top 70 golfers on the FedEx Cup standings are currently competing in the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind. The top 50 golfers from the TPC Southwind field will move to Olympia Fields Country Club to compete in the BMW Championship, the penultimate event in a series of three events.

The Olympia Field Country Club is located in the village of Olympia Field, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, about 25 miles south of The Loop. - Batter & Berries: The restaurant is open from 8 AM-3 PM from Monday to Friday, 9 AM-2 PM from Tuesday to Thursday, and from 5-8 PM from August 17-19, the restaurant will serve a special evening menu & cocktails on the occasion of BMW Championship.

- Fisherman’s Island: This place is open from 10 AM-9 PM from Monday to Thursday, and from 10 AM-10 PM during the weekend. This restaurant specializes in seafood.
- Jerk-n-Go Island Chicken: This eatery is open from 11 AM-9 PM from Tuesday to Thursday, On Saturday this place opens up at 11 AM and closes down at 10 PM. On Sunday, it runs from 11 AM-8 PM. It offers premier Jamaican food to its visitors.
- Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp: This restaurant opens at 11 AM and closes at 10 PM, all throughout the week. It offers delicious seafood and shrimp to the eaters.

- McDonald’s: The premium fast-food restaurant is open 24X7.
- Perros Brothers Gyros: This place opens at 10 AM and closes at 10 PM from Monday to Friday. It operates from 10 AM to 11 PM on Saturdays and from 11 AM to 9 PM on Sundays. This is a Deli-style restaurant that offers gyros, BBQ, sandwiches, and other fares. This place was also featured on Food Network’s America’s Best Restaurants.
- Shawn Michelle’s Homemade Ice Cream: The ice cream shop opens at noon and closes at 8 PM from Monday to Saturday. It runs for 5 hours on Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. It offers gourmet homemade ice cream. This shop was featured on Food Network and Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil, docuseries and was named the top ice cream shop in Chicagoland.

On 16th August, a special musical event, Playlist in the Park Outdoor Concert Series, sponsored by The Emmaus Community is being organized.
