Did Charlie beat Tiger Woods in a putting contest?
In an interview with GolfTV, golf legend Tiger Woods described his experiences during self-isolation in 2020. The family resided in their luxurious home in Jupiter during the pandemic. In response to how he killed time, Woods spoke at length about spending time with his loved ones, especially the home battle with his son, Charlie.
That included regular putting contests in Woods’ backyard. While we can expect who came out on top on most occasions, the prize for a win was the glamorous Green Jacket that Tiger received after winning a historic Masters in 2019.

But did his son ever receive the accolade? As Woods states admiringly, the 11-year-old has defeated his dad on more than one occasion. “The fact that he has been able to earn it off of me, there’s no wins that are given in this family,” he said. “It’s been fun to see him tease me about beating me. He said, ‘It’s where it belongs.’ ”

While the last couple of years have been challenging for Woods, the 15-time Major Championship winner has found plenty of time to be around with his family. He has often been spotted practicing with his son and even caddied for him in a junior golf tournament in January.
The father-son duo is also a regular in the annual PNC Championship. Team Woods finished runners-up last year in the two-round contest, behind famous golfer John Daly and his son, 19-year-old John Daly II.
