Notably, the legendary South African was part of the famous trio with Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Now at 86, he is the only non-American golfer to have won all four major championships.

Gary Player wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving with an iconic picture

Gary Player is quite an active golfer on social media, especially Twitter. Recently, on the occasion of Thanksgiving, he tweeted an iconic picture, dating back to his playing days. He shared this tweet along with the iconic Masters dinner picture and said that it was the greatest dinner along with Thanksgiving.

“The two greatest dinners of the year – the one pictured and Thanksgiving! I would like to wish a happy and relaxing Thanksgiving to all those celebrating today,” the player wrote. Furthermore, he asked everyone to name one golfer they would host to their Thanksgiving dinner if given the chance.

“Some fun “food for thought” – if your family could host one golfer at your Thanksgiving meal, who would you invite?” he said. To no surprise, most fans in the comments section either wanted Gary Player or Jack Nicklaus to be their special guest.
