Tiger Woods has achieved everything a pro golfer can to be regarded as the greatest player of all time. His list of accolades includes 82 professional wins and an end number of records. However, despite his untouchable feats in the sport, one trophy in Woods’ illustrious trophy cabinet is still missing.

The golf world is ready to witness Tiger Woods compete in a PGA Tour event for the first time in nearly three years. He last participated in the 2020 ZOZO Championship. Due to the 15-time Major winner’s troubles following his car accident in February 2021, Woods has been a frequent competitor in the Majors, while omitting the PGA Tour events.

Nonetheless, the much-anticipated wait will soon end at the upcoming Genesis Invitational. However, upon his return, a surprising stat has been revealed about the Hall of Famer which doesn’t seem to sound familiar with his outstanding resume.

Which is the only PGA Tour event win that Tiger Woods hasn’t won?

Woods has been a competitor in the American Tour for over thirty years including his amateur days. Deeming to his successful career three decades later, the 47-year-old has won nearly every professional golf event or Major sanctioned by the PGA Tour.

However, Jason Sebel, the host of SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio and a golf writer for Action Network recently took to Twitter to reveal a barely known fact about Tiger Woods. According to Sebel, the 15-time Major winner has yet to win Genesis Invitational, an event that he annually hosts.

Woods has competed in the American Tour-sanctioned tournament 14 times. However, he’s only managed four top-10 finishes and two runners up, while also missing the cut three times. Moreover, during his previous time participating as a host at Genesis Invitational in 2019, Tiger scored 11 over par, finishing in the 68th position.

As per Jason Sebel, the winless visits at Riviera Country Club remains Woods’ most-played tournament without a win. However, as the 15-time Major winner has confirmed his return to the 93-year-old Tour’s event, he looks to add another trophy to his cabinet. Though there may be little to no space on his trophy shelf, Tiger Woods wouldn’t mind fitting the 83rd trophy.
