Caddie flaunts his parkour skills on the PGA Tour

This week, the Tour players are competing in the Zurich Classic at the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, LA. At the end of the first round, a few players outshone the rest. Among them were Brandon Matthews and Sean O’Hair, who currently sit atop the leader board at the event, tied for first. But Matthew perhaps couldn’t have gotten there had it not been for his caddie, Piri Borja!

Borja not only excelled in his role on the bag during the first round, but he did so much more! When a wayward shot from Matthews landed atop a small hoarding on Thursday, the caddie unflinchingly got to work. Flaunting his parkour skills, he quickly scaled the hoarding and retrieved the ball.

The tour posted a video of Borja doing so and captioned it, “@BrandonMatthewsGolf’s caddie went above and beyond to retrieve his ball @Zurich_Classic.” And in it, one can clearly see the caddie prove that he’s one of the best out there. The video went viral within hours of going up, and fans were dazzled by Borja’s dedication to his job and his heroics!

Golf world sings praises for the caddie

Seeing the amazing caddie go out of his way to retrieve Matthews’ ball, the golf world was spellbound. They immediately began flooding the post with comments praising Broja’s brilliance. “Give this man a prize,” wrote one fan. Another commented, “Right on,” while another said, “Working hard!”

They couldn’t help but admire how he exceeded expectations. “That’s gotta more than a 10% bonus with that effort,” said one fan on the post. “It’s honest work,” said another golf fanatic. “PIIIIIIRIIIIIIII,” chanted another, praising his efforts for Matthews’. It’s safe to say he won over many hearts while retrieving the mishit ball!
