The DP World Tour will end its 2023 season in Dubai with the DPWT Championship. The penultimate event has a prize purse of $10 million with a winner’s cut of $3 million. The Top 50 players on the Race to Dubai list will compete against each other.
Among them is Australia’s Min Woo Lee. Except in the France Open, Lee has Top 20 finishes through his participation in the DP World Tour 2023 season. Despite not winning a single event, Lee stands 9th on the Race to Dubai list. Now, the Aussie is playing at the pre-event sessions.

Min Woo Lee tees it up at the Pro-Am round
Min Woo Lee had the third victory of his career in 2023 at the SJ, Macao Open in the Asian Tour. Making his debut in 2019, Lee has consistently performed well, clinching three titles until now. Finishing 9th on the Race to Dubai ranking, Lee now awaits the commencement of the championship. Moreover, Lee will star in Tiger Woods’ TGL starting in January 2024.
Before the official rounds, the DP World Tour Championship has started the practice and Pro-Am sessions. Rory McIlroy was also spotted in partnership with rugby player Johnny Sexton. Meanwhile, it is unknown who Lee partnered with.
However, the fantastic shots he took were made public to the fans. The DPWT official X handle shared Lee hitting a phenomenal shot. The ball had a speed of 185mph, as DPWT stated. Lee himself retweeted the post and captioned it “bye bye” with a rocket emoji, as in bidding adieu to the ball.

The swing was so fierce and fast that this man had no choice except to compare Lee to a firearm.
Sir, no firearms allowed on the golf course.

One thing is evident – if Lee plays the same as he has shown here, he will get ’em (other golfers and the trophy) for sure!
