Korda has made a name for herself through her epic rounds on the field. After having played professional golf for years, the golfer is now recognized among the top players in the world. However, despite being extremely talented, Korda recently missed her chance to win the HSBC Women’s Championship in Singapore.

World No. 2 was extremely excited to be back in Singapore, as she mentioned in her pre-round press conference. The athletes were lined up to compete for a winning prize of $270,000. It was expected to be a tough one as the field contained 17 out of the world’s top 20 players. And that’s exactly what happened. At the end of the final round, Jin Young Ko was able to defeat Nelly Korda and finished at 3-under 69 with a two-shot victory.
