Athletes are constantly in serious mode when they are competing in high-level events and carrying the dreams of many people. These events are important for the players since they are ways for them to solidify their legacies. Therefore, everyone has a winning mentality when it comes to prevailing, leaving no place for anything silly. However, this LPGA star is of a different breed. 

One of the coolest golfers you’ll ever meet is Angel Yin. She is famous for diffusing the tension on green links. One can always find her doing goofy things on golf courses, and needless to say, her social media showcases her antics. She once again lives up to her distinctive persona at a high-end event with her confession.

After the Solheim Cup, Yin is currently participating in the 2023 Buick LPGA Shanghai. In the $2.1 million event, she is in the lead with her Solheim Cup rival, Maja Stark. American golfer fired a 7-under 65 yesterday to tie for the lead. She sat down with the press conference after her third round to discuss her outlook for the next day.

Since Yin has a happy and laid-back disposition, reporters were quite curious to find out if she would maintain that approach on the final day when she shared a lead. To it, Yin gave a quirky reply and told everyone that she would replicate a famous Netflix star ‘Wednesday.’

Well, Wednesday is known for her quiet and disinterested personality. She finds nothing interesting or surprising. Yin will act just like her since she doesn’t expect much.I’m just going to be like Wednesday and just be dull. I’m going to do the — just kidding. I’m just going to play golf. It is what it is. I’ve been in the final group a few times this year. I’m not really going to expect much,” said the 25-year-old golfer. 

Well, for the majority of people, the night before the last day is nothing but a high-stress period with high hopes for the following day. Yin is truly something else.

LPGA Pro just doesn’t stop there. She also shared her next-day routine as well. She declared that if she won the trophy, she would proudly show it. If she doesn’t clinch victory, then Yin will have a fun night with her friends. If nothing works out; she would just be in her hotel room.

”Just going to play golf, and if it works out, I’m going to be hoisting a trophy. If it doesn’t, maybe it’s going to impossible to Jay Chou’s concert if my friends pull through. If not, sitting in my hotel room,” said the runner-up of the Chevron Championship.
