Post her retirement from professional golf, she also started her podcast ‘playing a round’ where she discusses her personal and professional experiences. Recently, she expressed in the episode of her podcast how much she has changed since her college days. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has evolved a lot in these times, and she was in awe of the changes she acquired.

Talking about her college, Spiranac pointed out that she has changed a lot since her college days. She was homeschooled and went to college post that. Therefore, whenever she had the opportunity of having fun, she would never let it slip. The former golfer said, “I definitely let my hair down a little bit.”

She further added that she used to think of herself as a party girl. However, her thoughts changed utterly when she saw people partying. At that moment, golf beauty realized that she was no party girl. She said, “I would drink like, one night a week and get a little like white girl wasted, and it was so tame from what actually people actually do.” Drugs were also a big no for her. Her mother told her during her homeschooling that if she took drugs, she’d die. Spiranac was petrified of it.

She said, “I have never done drugs in my entire life. That’s just something that I’m like, so petrified to do and in college, I used to like kind of lie about it.” Many people used to do drugs, and the former golfer was never judgemental about it. However, when she was an adult, she realized it was normal. She never touched drugs but used to lie that she smoked marijuana.

The former pro golfer was never able to acquire a college degree. The reason is that she left San Diego State University to pursue her professional golf career.
