Paige Spiranac has always been vocal about her opinions on social media. The former professional golfer has been connected to the sport by giving golf lessons online to her followers. However, some believe that learning golf online is not as fruitful as learning it on the field from an instructor. But Spiranac recently gave a perfectly befitting reply to the individual saying it on Twitter.

Paige Spiranac bashes a golf fan for his unacceptable statements

It has been a really long time since Spiranac quit professional golf. When asked about her decision of leaving pro golf, she said she didn’t fit well among such talented professionals. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Spiranac is an utterly talented golfer. Having learned from the pros herself, the golf beauty also has great experience playing in professional tournaments.

But judging her based on her current career, fans often tend to believe that Spiranac knows little about the sport. And after Spiranac recently posted a promotional video of her website “onlypaige.com” on Twitter, a fan decided to point something out. Here’s what he wrote:

“No disrespect but if anybody ever needs golf instruction then they should consult their local professional! Getting golf instruction off YouTube is like going to trying to get advice about your sore foot from someone at the pub”

According to this individual, learning golf online had no value. And the fact that he wrote this under Spiranac’s video was a direct attack on the golfer. However, known for her witty and timed responses, Spiranac knew just what to say.

“Truth is most “local pros” aren’t very good and the great ones are $$$$.” Spiranac wrote based on her experience. “It’s the fun trend to sh*t on me but I’ve played at a high level and I’ve learned from the best. If I weren’t doing social media I would be a teaching pro. I’m giving you great instruction for $10 a month.” Her response to the fan received great support from others.

However, some local professionals found Spiranac’s statements a bit offensive towards them. But the golf diva explained her point saying that it was not a generalizing statement. Spiranac learned from various teachers at the beginning of her career. And therefore, there is almost nothing that she isn’t aware of compared to other local pros!
