It’s Donald Trump once again! The former POTUS has dominated the headlines of the golfing world many times over the years owing to his love for the game. However, this time around, it appears the American businessman has gone ahead to take the community by surprise, courtesy of his recent wins.

A tweet was shared by President Joe Biden on his X handle (formerly Twitter) congratulating the 77-year-old for his triumphs in the sport. However, what followed the post was not what Trump would have expected as the people in the comments took the opportunity to issue jabs at the ex-president of the U.S.

“Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment.” tweeted the current President of the United States of America as he shared a screenshot of the ex-POTUS’s post on Truth Social. Meanwhile, as per the snapshot, the politician declared how he would be getting the award for his wins at the Trump International Golf Club.

What’s more, the 45th President of the U.S. divulged how he would be awarded the same owing to his win at The Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship. That’s not all. he went ahead to mention, “A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting,” while alluding to the tournaments he won.

Interestingly, he was also the defending champion of the Senior Club Championship, the event which he managed to win back in 2023 in Palm Beach County.

Another follower couldn’t help but dub the ex-POTUS as a cheater. Besides, the enthusiast was very brutal in doing so as they also shared the instance of when the American businessman claimed he won the 2023 edition of the Senior Club Championship in Bedminster by beating Phil Mickelson’s record. Trump, apparently claimed that he scored a 67 which was eight shots better than ‘Lefty’s’ figures before posting the contact information of Bedminster’s head golf professional, Mickey Gallagher, for those refusing to believe him.

An enthusiast of the sport recalled the video of the American businessman shanking one of his shots. Hopefully a rare happening for the golfer-cum-politician, right?

Well, the mockery did not stop there as the follower also tried to make fun of Trump by making use of the golf carts on the course.

There was yet another follower who bluntly accused the 45th President of the U.S. of cheating. They alluded to the scorecards being unverified in a rigged tournament while making use of fake balls. Interestingly, the reaction is warranted as Donald Trump had once made easy work on the greens by casually guiding the ball along his walk to the hole.
