For the past couple of months, Amanda Balionis has been all about the NFL. The CBS reporter, who is known to dabble between golf’s greens and American football’s gridirons, is now making waves in Nashville, Tennessee. Following Sunday night’s Titans vs Chargers matchup, Balionis shared a carousel of moments on her Instagram. As she broke down Week 9’s key storylines, fans were captivated by something else. Her outfit and her professionalism.

Adorning a chic outfit, Balionis looked crisp and fall-ready as ever. She was wearing a long black trench coat, which could easily have been a Burberry Kensington. Beneath it was a cashmere hoodie from Williams Athletic Club, paired with a sleek Delhance belt. Completing the look, she flaunted a pair of shiny leather combat boots. This was the statement piece that actually made her fans go gaga, but this was not the first time she received wide recognition for her impeccable sense of style.
Often on the road, she keeps sharing her outfit breakdowns with her followers. For instance, at the NFL’s 50th anniversary celebration in September, Balionis wore a retro-inspired 1970s aesthetic, including a sleeveless denim jumpsuit from Ramy Brook. It featured a V-shaped neckline and a wide-leg cut, and was paired with white sneakers and a gold chain necklace.

Then, for the Masters, one of her looks featured an off-white blazer from Veronica Beard, Veronica Beard Dova high-waisted pants, and a New Balance sneaker. This complete ensemble totaled around $1,511 and became one of her most talked-about Master’s outfits.
Captioning her recent post, Balionis wrote: “Week 9 ✅ The Titans showed flashes of what could be in store for this team when the pieces come together, but at the end of the day, it was the Chargers who have won the last 3 of 4 and continue their push to the playoffs. A healthy Justin Herbert is so dangerous and so fun to watch.”

The Chargers indeed sealed a 27-20 win over the Titans. Justin Herbert highlighted the match by throwing for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and rushing for another. This victory extended Los Angeles’ momentum to three wins in their last four games. Tennessee, meanwhile, slipped to 1-8 on the season.

For those unfamiliar with her cross-post role, Balionis’s presence at an NFL game is not new. This is part of her long-standing dual-sport career at CBS Sports. She’s been balancing golf and NFL coverage since 2018. In fact, being part of the NFL was her actual dream. But as life went on, Golf started dominating her schedule and has continued to do so through spring and summer
But when CBS provided her the opportunity to swap a few months from her golf duties to capture the NFL, she grabbed it in a heartbeat. Now, in the fall, she’s often seen with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo for select matchups. She’s also occasionally worked alongside Tracy Wolfson and NFL Network veteran Tiffany Blackmon. By now, she’s covered major events like Super Bowl LIII.
