In a few days, PGA TOUR Champions will have a new event on their schedule – the Constellation Furyk and Friends tournament. Before the event starts, however, there was a concert for the Furyk Foundation. What caught everyone’s eye was John Daly was at the event and met NFL quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The photo was shared by PGA Tour, which had some fans wondering who the other person was. The 22-year-old is currently playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Daly, on his end, has been playing on the Champions Tour for years. It goes without saying that the 55-year-old was there to attend the concert.

“When in Jacksonville …,” wrote PGA Tour on Twitter, sharing a picture of Lawrence and Daly posing for the camera at the concert. Of course, fans reacted in their own way.

“Who’s the lady with JD?,” one user asked, while another compared Daly to a ‘Hobbit’.

Someone else commented on Daly’s apparel, while others pointed out that Daly also sang on the stage. Some even spoke of Lawrence’s golf. As per one user, while he may be able to drive a good distance, he might not be able to putt as well as Daly.

Why was the concert held before the Constellation Furyk and Friends tournament?

As per the site, the concert The Furyk Foundation Concert was headlined by Darius Rucker. It was presented by SRS Distribution with Scotty McCreery and was held on October 5th. It took place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, where fans were happy to attend the event.

Additionally, this concert was in appreciation of service men and women. That being said, a few tickets were reserved for the military by VyStar Credit Union. 

Various PGA Tour Champions players, along with other celebrities, also attended the concert.
