While there was no direct interaction between the two, the 20-time PGA Tour winner had a special request for the rapper.

What request did Rory McIlroy have for Kanye West?

Back in 2015, McIlroy – along with many other golfers – spoke to Billboard about the artist they would like to play with. McIlroy chose West, which would certainly make for an interesting scenario. “Kanye West. I would love to spend four or five hours in his company just to see what he’s like. It would be very interesting,” McIlroy said.

One cannot help but agree with McIlroy. After all, there is something amusing about McIlroy possibly teaming up with a billionaire like West.

That being said, McIlroy last played the Players Championship this year. Finishing T33, the 32-year-old will only aim to score better. He will also be missing the WGC-Dell Match Play, probably looking to miss a few events before returning. Irrespective of which tournament he plays next, fans are always eager to watch him play.
