After more than a month’s break, the PGA tour resumed its season in 2022, with the Sentry Tournament of Champions kicking off in Hawaii. The week was full of excitement, and we finally witnessed our favorite golfers back in action.

Indeed, we were treated to a wholesome and star-studded field, with 38 winners from last year’s season teeing it up. That included World No. 1 and 2, Jon Rahm and Collin Morikawa, alongside Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka and many more.

The stars of the weekend were undoubtedly Rahm and Smith, who, inch by inch, moved ahead of the rest of the field and established their supremacy early in the week.

Coming into the ultimate day, the pair were T-1, a dominating 5 strokes ahead of Daniel Berger. Subsequently, a mighty battle ensued on Sunday, and Smith was successful in holding off the Spaniard to a record-breaking victory at the Kapalua Plantation Course.
