At times, sports can be taken extraordinarily seriously by enthusiasts. One’s success counts as the other’s failure. Consequently, all it takes to set the two portions at odds is a slight provocation. Drama has, however, nearly stayed away from golf. Hotheads and fistfights have never led the tranquil game. However, a recent occurrence of a fight, that ended with the assailant being taken to jail, could alter opinions.

However, the petty rift on a victim’s slow play is a growing concern in fast-paced day-to-day life. Golf remains one of the most time-consuming sports, with an average of 4 hours and 30 minutes considered the optimal time to complete a round.

A par-3 should ideally be completed in about 13 minutes, irrespective of the number of shots hit. Similarly, par 4’s and par 5’s should take 15 and 17 minutes, minutes, respectively. The number also depends upon several factors, such as weather conditions, course length, and type of grass used, among others.
