Debbie Doniger started selling CBD in the villages
Doniger (the director of instruction at posh GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, New York) always wanted to start something related to fitness and wellness. And she was finally able to do so. The idea came from her father’s illness who was suffering from neuropathy. He was on medication as a result of his sickness.
To assist her father, Doniger started her hunt for a plant-based product. She looked into the advantages of CBD, a non-psychoactive substance present in cannabis plants. After that, her father began using a CBD transdermal patch, and the result came up just perfect for him. Her father even suggested she start her business in the villages where he previously used to lease medical supplies.
Doniger never looked back after that point. She established her company “The Pharm Stand” with the help of her father’s advice and business partner Jason Provost. Their mission was to offer buyers a retail experience in CBD. According to Golf Digest, she said: “I wanted to create a place where people could have a peaceful, highly individualized experience, where they could find help to get what they needed to feel better,” Doniger added: “It’s exactly how I run my golf instruction.” Golf Digest shared this on their Twitter account.

The Pharm Stand established itself as the villages’ sole CBD store. The villages’ health service also made contact with Doniger so that the doctor could utilize the resources from the store to assist patients in getting rid of extra prescription drugs. Doniger stated, “In the end, you see clients who are spending less money, feeling better and enjoying a much better quality of life.”
