Just a week ago, an unfortunate tragedy struck the Obama household. Their long-time beloved sous chef, Tafari Campbell, had passed away. Per the reports, Campbell lamentably dropped down from a paddleboard on Sunday at Edgartown’s Great Pond, near the Obamas’ summer property.

The loyal chef had worked for the former President for 14 years, was married to Sherise, and had two sons. Thus, while paying their condolences, the Obamas mentioned that he was a beloved part of their family. “Today we join everyone who knew and loved Tafari—especially his wife Sherise and their twin boys, Xavier and Savin—in grieving the loss of a truly wonderful man,” the couple said, according to the Guardian.

Recently, almost a week after this misfortune, the pair left their house for perhaps the first time. Leaving their $12 million property, Mrs. Obama headed toward a tennis court, and Barack Obama was photographed hitting the links. The former President found a way to spend his time at the members-only Vineyard Golf Club with a club in his hand.

The same photographs were posted by Nuclr Golf on its Twitter handle. They were captioned, “Former President Barack Obama was seen hitting the links at the Vineyard Golf Club Friday as he mourns the loss of his personal chef“. The latter part of the sentence drew some strong reactions from online users who came across the tweet.
