Rose Zhang, the American sensation, stepped on the field along with eight other rookies in the recently-concluded Solheim Cup. Rose’s experience at the event was remarkable. The rookie was one of the top performers for the U.S. on fourball day one. Rose also played against Solheim Cup star Leona Maguire in Sunday’s singles, giving her a good fight. “In team play, it’s essential to never give up,” Zhang said. “I think ‘playing for your team’ is a very cliché mindset, but it’s also very important when you’re in that team environment.” Rose Zhang has won two Curtis Cups, and the experience gained in those matches helped her greatly in the Solheim Cup.
